First Day School
Adult Learning
Join us for our weekly gathering at 10:00 AM. We gather in silence to listen for the presence of God, sharing reflections and testimonies in a spirit of peace and community. This time ends generally at about 10:50 and is followed by a time of fellowship to which all are invited.
Twice a month, the young people will participate in First Day School (like Sunday School). They will learn about Quaker values and testimonies and will participate in Quaker decision-making. They will hear Bible stories and stories about Friends that have made a difference in the world. FDS meets from 10:00AM to 10:45AM (See schedule)
Assembly is an opportunity for the adults to come together to learn from one another. We might be reading a book, reading smaller pamphlets from Pendle Hill, sharing concerns, and considering the Friends Queries. This time is open to all. We meet from 9:00AM to 9:50AM.
